The Upper Festival and Lower Festival (Hachioji Festival) is one of the most famous float festivals in the Kanto region and is also a Japan Heritage cultural asset. At the Konica Minolta Science Dome (Hachioji Children's Science Museum), before the main program of the planetarium, a short film is being projected to great acclaim to give visitors a realistic impression of actually participating in the festival.
