Hachioji City’s representative wrought iron artist and former Japanese representative in the Mountain Bike World Championship, Charlie Isozaki, introduces a cycling route that takes you through the Story of Mulberry City. Charlie Isozaki (Masayoshi Isozaki)

His mother was a painter, and his father was an architect (iron workshop). He grew up surrounded by art and crafts.
He began mountain biking in high school and joined a professional team after graduation.
He is a professional rider for GlobeRide, CORRATEC, and handles testing and promotion.
He is involved in the design and production of bicycles and bicycle accessories.
Utilizing his career in the special technique of forging iron (wrought iron) that he grew up with, he works on creating artistic crafts using materials like iron, leather, and wood. He also produces original large gates and staircase railings, forging wrought iron exteriors, attracting attention from various industries.
He is also the artist behind the creation of the "Iron Octopus" at the Yakuoin Temple on Mount Takao in Hachioji.
