Thinking about the future from "local studies"

SOTO Local Education 2022.02.28.

Hachioji Asakawa Elementary School is located at the foot of Mt. Takao, a Japanese heritage site. This time, all sixth graders researched the cultural assets of Hachioji, including Mt. Takao. Divided into groups, they conducted interviews and took photographs, creating posters of "things they want you to know and share." Click to enlarge and view.

Each child took the initiative, recognized the new charm and value of each theme of Japanese heritage, and the posters expressing this with photos and words became a message from the children to be passed on to the future.
